Privacy Policy

How Shahzad Khan handles website enquiries, project information and personal data.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

This policy explains how Shahzad Khan, the operator of shahzadkhan.ae, handles personal information in connection with this website and enquiries about web development and digital services. The service is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

For questions or requests about your information, email connectwidshahzad@gmail.com or use the Contact page. In this policy, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Shahzad Khan’s website and services.

2. Information you provide

When you contact us, request a consultation or discuss a project, we receive the information you choose to share. Depending on the form or channel, this can include:

  • Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number, including country code.
  • Your website address, service interests, optional budget range and project requirements.
  • Messages, correspondence and information needed to prepare or carry out an agreed project.

Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through a general enquiry form. If access is needed for an agreed project, we will arrange an appropriate method separately.

3. Technical information and spam prevention

Website hosting, security and diagnostic systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps and error logs. This helps operate the website, investigate faults and protect it against abuse.

Enquiry forms use validation and spam-prevention measures. Some service forms use a temporary, hashed IP-based identifier to limit repeated submissions. An enquiry can also include the page from which it was sent, the date and the time.

4. How we use your information

We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations, understand requirements, prepare proposals, communicate about projects and provide agreed services. Information may also be needed for billing, record keeping, security, resolving disputes or meeting applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell enquiry information. Sending a project enquiry does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. If we seek consent for a separate purpose, we will explain that purpose at the time.

5. Consent and other permitted processing

Where consent is required, we will seek it for the relevant processing. We may also process information where applicable law permits it, including when necessary to take steps at your request towards a contract, perform an agreed service or meet a legal obligation.

Where processing relies on consent, you can contact us to withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. We may need to retain certain records where another legal requirement or permitted basis applies.

6. Where enquiries are stored and who receives them

The Contact page uses WordPress and Elementor. Enquiries submitted there are stored in the website’s submission system and sent to a designated business email address. Other service enquiry forms send the information to the business through email. If you contact the published Gmail address, your correspondence is handled through Google’s email service.

Information can be handled by providers needed to run the website and communicate with you, such as Hostinger hosting, email providers, website software and security or technical support providers. Project information may be shared with a collaborator only where needed for an agreed service and subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal process. We do not publish your private enquiry on the website.

7. Cookies, local storage and external resources

WordPress and website features can use cookies or similar storage for functions such as authentication, security and remembering relevant settings. Administrative login cookies apply when an authorised user signs in. You can manage or remove cookies through your browser; blocking necessary storage may affect some functions.

Some page styles request fonts from Google Fonts. Loading an external resource involves a request to its provider, which can receive technical request data such as your IP address and browser information. External providers handle that data under their own policies.

This notice is not a statement that optional tracking is enabled, or that consent has already been given. If optional analytics, advertising tools or additional embedded services are introduced, their use and any required consent choices must be explained before they are used.

8. Third-party websites and international processing

Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other external websites take you to services with their own terms and privacy practices. Information you provide directly to those services is governed by their policies.

Hosting, email and other service providers may process information in the UAE or other countries. Where a transfer is subject to legal safeguards or other requirements, those requirements must be met. We do not promise that every provider stores information only in the UAE.

9. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an enquiry, managing a project and retaining required business or legal records. Retention depends on the record and the relationship; there is no single period for every enquiry. Backups and records subject to legal requirements may remain for longer.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to restrict access and protect information. No website, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe information sent to us has been compromised.

10. Your privacy requests

Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing.

Send a request to connectwidshahzad@gmail.com. Tell us how you contacted us and what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. We will respond in accordance with applicable requirements and explain any lawful reason that limits a request. You may also raise concerns with the competent data-protection authority where applicable.

11. Children and information about other people

These services are intended for business clients and adults arranging professional services, not for children. Please do not submit a child’s personal information. Contact us if you believe such information has been provided so that we can assess and address it.

If you share another person’s contact details or project information, ensure you have the authority to do so and that the information is relevant to the request.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, services or applicable requirements. The updated date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes that require a separate notice or consent will be handled accordingly.
